No. 2 Men’s Hoops Set to Take on No. 7 Baruch in Wednesday’s ECAC Quarterfinal

Old Westbury travels to Baruch for a 7:30 p.m. matchup

CENTERVILLE, MA (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) -The SUNY College at Old Westbury men's basketball team (22-4) earned the No. 2 seed in the 2013 ECAC Metro Region Championship Tournament and will hit the road to take on the No. 7 seeded Baruch Bearcats (17-10) on Wednesday evening in New York, New York.  Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. from the Arc Arena.

The last time the Panthers and Bearcats met was on March 10, 2010, when Baruch eliminated Old Westbury from the 2010 ECAC Tournament in the semifinal round with an 88-81 victory.    

After going two years without an ECAC Tournament berth, Old Westbury looks to capture their first ECAC Championship since 1987.
