ECAC Metro Region Championship Tournament schedule update

Old Westbury and USMMA postponed to Friday, Semifinal and Championship moved to Sunday

KINGS POINT, NY (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) - The SUNY College at Old Westbury baseball game with the United States Merchant Marine Academy Mariners has been postponed for the second consecutive day due to unplayable field conditions in Kings Point, New York.  No. 2 Old Westbury and No. 7 USMMA will now battle in the opening round of the ECAC Metro Region Championship Tournament on Friday at 4:30 p.m. from Lower Roosevelt Field.

The ECAC announced that the semifinal and championship will be played on Sunday (May 12) on the campus of Purchase College.  Game times for the semifinal games are set for 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. while the championship will get underway at 2 p.m.
