Senior Student-Athlete Awards Banquet Program
OLD WESTBURY, NY --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) SUNY Old Westbury Department of Athletics hosted its 2019 Senior Student-Athlete Awards Banquet on Monday (April 15) evening on campus at the Student Union, and the department's nine highest honors were awarded during the 2018-19 year-end celebration.
Lenore J. Walsh, Director of Athletics, emceed the banquet and presented the seniors with Old Westbury folios to all senior student-athletes. A video compilation highlighting the success of each senior student-athlete was shown throughout the celebration.

Female Student-Athlete: Charlotte Renker (Basketball)
This award is bestowed upon the Old Westbury female student-athlete who best exemplifies the true meaning of a collegiate student-athlete. Throughout their collegiate careers, they have demonstrated high ideals of athleticism, sportsmanship, qualities of cooperation, courage, unselfishness, self-control and desire for a clean and productive life style with the highest respect for discipline and authority. Old Westbury athletics applauds Renker for her diligence, diplomacy and devotion to college athletics.
Male Student-Athlete: Eric Ragogna (Soccer)
This award is bestowed upon the Old Westbury male student-athlete who best exemplifies the true meaning of a collegiate student-athlete. Throughout Ragogna's collegiate career, he has demonstrated high ideals of athleticism, sportsmanship, qualities of cooperation, courage, unselfishness, self-control and desire for a clean and productive life style with the highest respect for discipline and authority. Old Westbury athletics applauds Ragogna for his diligence, diplomacy and devotion to college athletics.

Female Outstanding Athlete: Natasha Treuman (Lacrosse)
This award is bestowed upon the athlete who best demonstrates outstanding athletic excellence in the course of her athletic career. Throughout Treuman's tenure at Old Westbury, she has diligently labored to achieve her highest athletic potential. Treuman reached the athletic summit and richly deserved this honor. The Old Westbury community greatly appreciates Treuman for her due diligence and commitment to excellence.

This award is bestowed upon the athlete who best demonstrates outstanding athletic excellence in the course of his athletic career. Throughout Condon's tenure at Old Westbury, he has diligently labored to achieve his highest athletic potential. Condon reached the athletic summit and richly deserved this honor. The Old Westbury community greatly appreciates Condon for his due diligence and commitment to excellence.

Roarin' Panther Award: John Falcone (Sports Information)
The Old Westbury Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation Roarin' Panther Award is presented to a current student who exemplifies the true meaning of the student-athlete experience. Falcone was a major contributor to the overall success of Old Westbury athletics and recreation. Falcone provided positive support at Old Westbury's contests and functions and is an active member in the planning and implementation of athletic programming and is a positive and caring role model for all members of the Old Westbury community. Falcone's behavior demonstrated a strong will to be a major contributor to the improvement of Old Westbury athletics, thereby inspiring others to do the same.

SAAC Faculty Appreciation Award: Dr. Kyle Anderson (Assistant Professor of History & Philosophy)
Bestowed annually by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) to a faculty member of the SUNY Old Westbury Community whose contributions have exceeded the normal duties associated with being a faculty member. Dr. Anderson has positively impacted the lives of student-athletes through quality teaching commitment to excellence and social enhancement.

Paws Up Award: James Shevlin (Call Transportation Coordinator, First Year Experience)
Bestowed upon a staff member of the SUNY Old Westbury Community, the Paws Up Award recognizes Shevlin's efforts in supporting and advancing the services and programs of the Old Westbury Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation.
All-Panther Team: This academic year, the Old Westbury Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation introduced the addition of the All-Panther Team. The All-Panther Team is bestowed on student-athletes who varied in academic excellence, outstanding athletic achievement or is an active participant in the athletic department. Tori Bellings, Monique Joseph, Jennifer Lobody, Renker and Treuman made up the Female All-Panther Team while Alan McDonald, Ragogna, Alexander Routledge and Mike Warren headlined the Male All-Panther Team.
