Three Athletes Named to 10/3 Weekly Honor Rolls by Skyline

Great River, New York | October 3, 2023 | The hard work and high-level play of three SUNY Old Westbury Panthers was recognized as they each were named on October 3 to the latest editions of the Skyline Conference Weekly Honor Rolls. Student-athletes from men's soccer, women's soccer and women's volleyball team were recognized for their efforts in the most recent week of competition.
 
Skyline Conference Men's Soccer Weekly Report – October 3
Roobens Celine (North Babylon, New York/North Babylon High School)
Freshman forward Celine scored what was at the time the tying goal in what ultimately ended in a loss to Farmingdale State College. The goal was the first of Celine's collegiate career.
 
Skyline Conference Women's Soccer Weekly Report – October 3
Alyse Then (Port Jefferson Station, New York/Comsewogue High School)
Freshman forward Then netted three goals and one assist in game against Brooklyn College. The goals brought her season total to 20, setting a new freshman scoring record for the program.
 
Skyline Conference Women's Volleyball Weekly Report – October 3
Jonangeliz Alvarez Rodriguez
Freshman Alvarez Rodriguez was recognized after totaling 17 kills and 5 digs against SUNY Purchase and then following that performance with 12 kills and 7 digs against CCNY.
