Vinny Iannuzzi Named Athletics Facilities Manager

OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. – SUNY Old Westbury's Director of Athletics, Lenore J. Walsh, has announced that Vincent Iannuzzi has been named the new Athletics Facilities Manager for Old Westbury Athletics. Iannuzzi will handle the maintenance and up-keep of all of the Panthers' athletic facilities and grounds.

"I am very excited to welcome Vinny to the Panther community," said Walsh. "Vinny's background and experience in facility management will help us tremendously and he will be a great addition to our athletics staff"

Iannuzzi joins the Panthers after gathering experience across the sports landscape as he has spent time working in both professional and collegiate athletics settings.

Most recently, Iannuzzi worked with the Long Island Ducks where he was tasked with assisting the ballpark operations team, working with the ground crew and sales departments.

Prior to the Ducks, Iannuzzi worked at Adelphi University. There, Iannuzzi was able to assist the athletics department in the setup and breakdown of intercollegiate athletic contests for varying sports programs.

In addition to operations, Iannuzzi was also able to gather experience in marketing as he assisted with broadcasts of athletic programs while also helping with Adelphi's promotional giveaways and special events.

While earning his degree in Sports Management from Adelphi, Iannuzzi garnered experience as a college athlete himself. Iannuzzi was a three-year member of Adelphi's baseball program.

Along the way, Iannuzzi has also helped coach different programs at various levels in youth baseball.

Iannuzzi currently resides in Smithtown, New York and graduated from Adelphi in May of 2023.
