Six Named to Skyline Conference’s All-Conference Teams for Softball; Reilly and Pierce land on All-Conference First Team; Ragozine, Danin, Muehling and Rivera Earn Second Team Recognition

NEW YORK, N.Y. – On Wednesday, May 7, the Skyline Conference announced their 2025 Softball All-Conference teams. Alaina Reilly and Ashley Pierce have been named to the All-Conference First Team while Hailey Ragozine, Madison Danin, Madison Muehling and Zoe Rivera land on the All-Conference Second Team.  

The conference announced the first team, second team, player of the year, rookie of the year and coaches of the year. 
 
The Panthers concluded the 2025 regular season with an overall record of 22-16 and a Skyline Conference record of 12-6, earning the three seed in the post season. The Panthers secured the most Skyline Conference wins in a single season in program history this year. 
 
Alaina Reilly- All Conference First Team- Third Base

Alaina Reilly dominated once again this season for the Panthers. Reilly was successful in all areas of the game. Reilly finished the season with an overall batting average of .490, an OBP of .569 and a slugging percentage of .688. 

She recoded 47 hits, 22 RBIs, 29 runs, 17 doubles, one triple 18 walks and a stolen base. Reilly finishes the season with 22 putouts at third base with 40 assists. Reilly amassed a fielding percentage of .886. 

Reilly ranks fourth overall in the conference in batting average, eighth overall in slugging percentage, third overall in OBP and fifth overall in OPS. Reilly finished tied for the sixth most hits in conference and had the most doubles out of any Skyline player. She also ranks highly across DIII in batting average and doubles. 
 
Ashley Pierce- All Conference First Team- First Base

Ashley Pierce's second season with the Panthers did not disappoint. 

Pierce finished the year with a batting average of .400, an OBP of .464 and a slugging percentage of .600. Pierce recorded 38 hits, 34 RBIs, 15 runs, 13 doubles, two home runs, and 10 walks. 
 
Pierce was near perfect at first base. She recorded 182 putouts and 16 assists with just three errors on the year. Against the conference, she ranks in the top 15 in slugging percentage and OPS, is in the top-20 in batting average. Pierce has the third most doubles in the conference and is tied for the fourth most RBIs. 

Hailey Ragozine- All Conference Second Team- Pitcher

Hailey Ragozine dominated in her sophomore season with the Panthers. Ragozine became one of the Panthers' aces and thrived in that role. 

Ragozine finished the season with 11 wins. Ragozine recorded a season ERA of 2.33 in 16 starts. She has thrown 100 innings throughout the season and has allowed 94 hits, 16 walks and just 30 earned runs.

Ragozine finishes the season with 77 strikeouts. Ragozine also showcased her glove in the circle and finished with eight putouts and 28 assists. 

Ragozine finishes with the third lowest ERA amongst Skyline Conference pitchers and has the sixth lowest opposing batting average. Ragozine has the eighth most innings pitched the the sixth most batters struck out. Ragozine ranks sixth in the conference in wins. She also has the fifth fewest runs allowed and the third fewest walks thrown. 

Madison Danin- All Conference Second Team- Designated Player

Madison Danin had another strong season at the plate for the Panthers. Danin finishes the regular season with an overall batting average of .351, an OBP of .411 and a slugging percentage of .533.
Danin recorded 33 hits, 23 RBIs, 14 runs, 10 doubles and three home runs. Danin drew nine walks and stole two bases. 

Danin ranks in the top-20 in conference in slugging percentage, is tied for seventh in the conference for doubles, and is tied for eighth overall in home runs. 

Madison Muehling- All Conference Second Team- Catcher

Madison Muehling improved and impressed yet again in her sophomore season with the Panthers. 

Muehling dominated as a hitter with a season batting average of .348, OBP of .438 and slugging percentage of .594. Muehling recorded 24 hits, 15 RBIs, 17 runs, eight doubles and three home runs. Muehling drew nine walks and stole five bases. 

Behind the plate, Muehling finished with 105 putouts and nine assists. She caught six runners stealing. 

Zoe Rivera- All Conference Second Team- Outfield

Zoe Rivera impressed in her first season with the Panthers this year. 

This season, Rivera recorded a batting average of .356, and OBP of .394 and a slugging percentage of .515. Rivera recorded 36 hits, 12 RBIs, 22 runs, 10 doubles, two home runs, seven walks and eight stolen bases. Rivera finishes the season with 62 putouts and six assists in the field. She ranks ninth overall in conference in doubles.

In addition to the All-Conference team announcement, the conference has released this year's All-Sportsmanship team for the 2025 season. Juliana Vasquez has earned a spot on the team for her leadership and efforts all season long for Old Westbury.

The Panthers will begin the post season at home and play host to the Dolphins of the University of Mount Saint Vincent in the single elimination game this afternoon, Wednesday, May 7. The first pitch is scheduled for 6 PM. The winner will advance to the double elimination tournament.
