OLD WESTBURY, N.Y.-The SUNY College at Old
Westbury women's swim team dropped their second consecutive
conference dual meet on Wednesday evening at the Old Westbury
Aquatic Center, falling to Mount Saint Vincent, 76-59. The OW
women are now 0-5 overall and 0-2 in the Skyline Conference while
Mount Saint Vincent's record now sits at 3-3 and 1-1.
Old Westbury were led by freshman Meko He (Guangzhou, China),
and junior Aryn Gring (Clay, N.Y.), the only winners for the
Panther women's team. He won the 100 breast in 1:45.68 while
Gring claimed the 200 free in 3:06.47.
Two Panthers posted second-place finishes in races with Inez Zuska taking second in the 200 free in 4:44.81 and junior Sarah Grant (Long Beach, N.Y.), finishing as runner-up in the 50 back in
42.15.
The women saw another impressive performance by freshman, Esther Bae (Sunnyside, N.J.), Bella Bi (Qingdao, China), Rumeng Chen
(Anhui, China) and Brooklyn Esposito (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.),
teaming up to finish first in the 200 free relay 2:57.79.
The Green and Ivory are right back in the pool on Friday,
December 12th on the road at Skyline Conference
