OLD WESTBURY, NY (
www.oldwestburypanthers.com) - The SUNY College at Old Westbury women's swimming team saw its record fall to 0-4 on the season with a pair of loses Tuesday at the Old Westbury Aquatic Center. The Panthers lost to New Rochelle, 61-21, and to York, 44-34.
OW's top individual performance was put on by Kristyn Marie Ceaser, who placed second in the 100 backstroke at 1:28.42. Old Westbury also placed third in both the 200 freestyle (
Alyssa Clancy – 3:38.33) and 50 freestyle (
Karen Camargo – 41:71) events.
The Panthers had a second place showing when
Alex Heaney, Christa Foershner,
Leeanna Ladouceur and
Karen Camargo teamed up to finish in 2:45.66 in the 200 freestyle relay.
SAINT ELIZABETH SCREAMING EALGES UP NEXT FOR THE PANTHERS: Old Westbury returns to the pool on Thursday (Dec. 2), taking on the Saint Elizabeth Screaming Eagles in a non-conference dual meet at the Old Westbury Aquatic Center. Race time is set for 7:30 p.m. in Old Westbury, New York.
