PATCHOGUE, NY (
www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) – The SUNY College at Old Westbury women's swimming team dropped a Skyline Conference dual on the road, 94-67, to the St. Joseph's-L.I. Golden Eagles Saturday afternoon in Patchogue, New York.
The 200 freestyle relay team of
Sally Chrayde,
Lydia Coleman, Christina Nelson and
Hayley McGinn swam a winning time of 2:19.94. OW finished second in the 200 medley relay with a time of 2:24.94. The relay team was made up of
Lauren White,
Janet Marmol, Coleman and McGinn in second with a time of 2:24.94 in the 200 medley relay.
Janet Marmol won a pair of races, taking first-place in the 200 freestyle (2:15.50) and 100 breaststroke (1:21.50) events.
Lydia Coleman claimed top honors in the 500 freestyle, clocking a finish time of 6:34.23.
YORK CARDINALS UP NEXT FOR THE PANTHERS: Old Westbury men's swimming returns to the pool on Thursday (Nov. 17) in Jamaica, New York for a non-conference matchup against the York Cardinals at 6 p.m.
