STATEN ISLAND, NY (
www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) ––The SUNY College at Old Westbury men's and women's swimmers came away with 103-57 and 93-74, respectively, on the road against the Staten Island Dolphins on Tuesday evening. OW men improve to 8-4 as the women climbed to 7-5.
Bryan Woodhead finished first in the 200 freestyle as he registered a season-best time of 1:50.59.
Luis Montoya captured a pair of victories, finishing first in the 500 freestyle (8:23.23) and 1,000 freestyle (16.45.96) events. Old Westbury also captured individual first place finishes by
Adolphe Demesyeux (50 freestyle-28.30) and
Kareem Bryan (100 butterfly-1:05.14).
Thomas Mauro,
Stephen Paul,
Carl Nowicki and
William Hawkins claimed first place in the 200 medley relay (2:02.34) before
Ricky Damiano, Nowicki, Bryan and Woodhead took home first place with a season-best time of 1:28.89 in the 200 freestyle relay.
Lydia Coleman and
Janet Marmol paced the women to victory with a pair of individual victories. Coleman notched victories in the 50 freestyle (27.90) and 100 butterfly (1:22.50 while Marmol finished first in the 200 IM (2:42.83) and 100 breaststroke (1:22.20) events.
Christa Foerschner touched the wall first in the 100 freestyle (1:11.62) as did Christina Nelson in the 100 backstroke (1:43.40).

Lydia Coleman teamed up to claim top honors in the 200 freestyle relay in 2:01.74.
