PATCHOGUE, NY
(www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) –The SUNY College at Old Westbury women's swimming team dropped a tri-meet to St. Joseph's-L.I. and St. Joseph's-Brooklyn in Patchogue, New York from the Danzi Center on Friday afternoon.  St. Joseph's-Brooklyn downed Old Westbury, 74-19 and St. Joseph's-L.I. won over the Panthers, 67-23.

Lydia Coleman and Melanie Barone both paced Old Westbury with second-place finishes.  Coleman had a great race in the 200 freestyle, taking second in 2:23.76 while Barone took second in the 100 breaststroke in 1:31.41.  Hayley McGinn grabbed the wall in 17:05.51 to swim to a third place finish in the 1,000 freestyle.

The 200 medley relay team of Barone Rachel Heath, Zabdi Loman and Ashleigh Morris took third in 2:43.40.  The 200 freestyle relay team of Barone, McGinn, Christina Nelson and Heath finished the race third in 2:22.79. 

ADELPHI PANTHERS UP NEXT FOR OLD WESTBURY: Old Westbury swim teams returns to the pool on Monday (Dec. 10) in Garden City, New York for a showdown with the Adelphi Panthers.  Race time is scheduled for 6 p.m. from the Center for Recreation and Sport.
